Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Hale County Court Docket. By browsing or using the site, you accept them. The service supplies general directions to Alabama courts, the Circuit Clerk, official portals, and outside tools. It is not a court office, law firm, consumer reporting agency, or official record system.

NO FCRA USE. This private website is not affiliated with a government agency or court and is not a consumer reporting agency. Do not use it for credit, employment, tenant screening, insurance, or another FCRA-regulated purpose.

1. What This Website Is

Hale County Court Docket is a private reference that points toward the Circuit Clerk of Hale County, Circuit and District Courts, municipal courts, Probate Court, and statewide case services. It does not operate those offices or databases.

2. Informational Use Only

Content is general information. It is not an official docket, filed order, certified copy, or substitute for advice from a licensed Alabama lawyer. Verify a case status, court date, fee, filing rule, and deadline with the court or clerk that controls the matter.

3. Rules for Using This Site

Use the site lawfully and without disrupting it or harming others. You may not attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload systems, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, evade security, misuse personal information, or use the content to violate privacy or court rules. Official judicial records remain subject to Ala. Code ยง36-12-40, Alabama Rules of Judicial Administration 30 through 33, and the Alabama Rules of Court-Record Privacy and Confidentiality.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Neither this site nor its general reference content is a consumer report. No material may be used to determine credit eligibility, employment, housing, tenant status, insurance, or another purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Outside links do not change this restriction.

5. No Legal Advice

Descriptions of Hale County court dockets and procedures do not create an attorney-client relationship. A lawyer licensed in Alabama can address how a charge, order, appeal period, or filing rule applies to a specific situation.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Cases change, courts reset hearings, fees can be revised, and official sites may update without notice. Content may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Rely on the originating court record and obtain a certified copy when legal proof is required.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

External courts, government sites, and sponsored services control their own content, access, pricing, privacy, and availability. We are not responsible for an outside service. Review its terms before submitting information or payment.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless another owner is identified, site text, graphics, logos, and code are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may view the material for personal informational use. Republishing, modifying, distributing, or exploiting it without permission is prohibited.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent law allows, the site and its operators are not liable for losses caused by use, inability to use, reliance on content, missed dates, outside services, or inaccurate results. The service is provided as available without warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, costs, and liabilities arising from your misuse of the service, breach of these terms, or violation of another person's rights, to the extent enforceable by law.

11. Governing Law

Alabama law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Alabama, subject to any controlling law.

12. Changes to These Terms

Terms may be revised as law or site practices change. The version posted here controls from its effective date. Using the site after a revision means you accept the updated terms.
